Day 1: Frankfurt – Heidelberg

Your personal driver guide collects you from Frankfurt Airport. To enable you to adapt to the time shift, this day is fairly active: short drive to Heidelberg, visit of Heidelberg Schloss castle and Kurpfälzisches museum. Overnight in Heidelberg.

Day 2: Heidelberg – Strasbourg.

Visit Strasbourg: typical area of “La Petite France” and/or Palais de L’Europe (Human Rights Commission and European Parliament). 6 nights in Strasbourg area.

Day 3: Strasbourg – Colmar – Riquewihr – Strasbourg.

Colmar historic city walk. Riquewihr 16th century village visit. 2nd night in Strasbourg area.

Day 4: Strasbourg region.

Orientation tour of Strasbourg. 3rd night in Strasbourg area.

Day 5: Strasbourg – Freiburg – Strasbourg.

Short drive to Freiburg, surrounded by the Black Forest. Historic city walk. 4th night in Strasbourg area.

Day 6: Strasbourg – Obernai – Strasbourg.

Free morning, visit of Obernai historic city. 5th night in Strasbourg area.

Day 7: Strasbourg.

Day free at leisure to explore Strasbourg on your own. 6th night in Strasbourg area.

Day 8: Strasbourg – Karlsruhe.

Karlsruhe historic city walk, visit the castle and the botanic gardens. 2 nights in Karlsruhe area.

Day 9: Karlsruhe region.

Bruchsal baroque castle. Pfalz mountains. 2nd night in Karlsruhe area.

Day 10: Karlsruhe – Frankfurt.

Drop-off at Frankfurt airport. This is the end of your “Alsace and Black Forest Tour”.

TOUR COST EXCLUDES:

1. 3 Euro tip per person per day.
2. Cost of Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) equivalent to USD 10,000.
3. No Porterage included.
4. Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to the departure of your tour.
5. Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us pay TV, mini-bar, telephone calls, etc.

• Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense.
• Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Europe such as air-show, world athletic meet, ice skating championships, motor show, Tour de France, etc. the hotels may be blocked out more than 2 years in advance. In view of this you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities/ different city and the itinerary may have to be altered /amended.
• We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
• For the convenience of our passengers we will sometimes amend/alter the itinerary. However all the services will remain the same.
